Ken founded ASI Business Solutions in 1989, bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to his role as President of the company. His previous experience includes positions within Lanier Worldwide. With ASI, his primary focus is on building ASI into the premier provider of office technology in the region, placing a high priority on customer service and satisfaction. Ken is involved in all aspects of the company that impact customers, such as sales, marketing communications, staff selection and development, and customer service. Under Ken’s leadership, ASI has earned numerous industry awards, such as The Week in Imaging Magazine’s Elite Dealer Award (fifteen-time recipient), and participates in industry leadership roles, such as having served on the Lanier Dealer Council.
Executive Vice President
Scott brings more than 25 years of industry experience to ASI in his role as Executive Vice President. He is responsible for administration, finance, purchasing, leasing, sales support and business planning. Prior to joining ASI in 1990, Scott held major and national account positions with Lanier Worldwide, achieving President’s Club status. Scott has served as the President of SDG (Select Dealer Group), a nationwide organization focused on the development and sharing of best practices for the digital copier industry. He holds a BBA Degree (marketing major) from Iowa State University.
Vice President of Service
Doug has more than 30 years of experience in the copier and document management industries, including servicing mid- and high-volume systems for Xerox Corporation, where he achieved Par Club, President’s Club, Top Supply Sales, Teamwork Performance and several other awards. Doug joined ASI in 1993 and has been promoted to Vice President of Service, where he is responsible for the Service Department’s dispatch operations, customer service, service staff training and development, technical support and warehouse/shop operations. Doug holds his CompTIA A+ certification.
Vice President of Finance
Scott has over 15 years of operations and management experience. Most recently he was a manager for eight years in the transportation services industry. Scott’s responsibilities include overseeing the Financial functions within ASI, as well as the Administrative group.
JANEL L. DICKEY
Director of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources
Janel L. Dickey brings 20 years of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources experience to ASI in her role as Director of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources. Joining ASI in 2013, she not only oversees Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, but is also a part of the Leadership Team. She is a Certified People Sourcing Professional (CPSP – 1), and is the Engagement Captain for Communities Foundation of Texas for Business (CFT4B). Janel holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Management and Marketing, as well as Minor German from Truman State University.
Director of Sales
David Downs joined ASI in 2015 as the Director of Sales. He has had tremendous success in the past 25 years managing field sales organizations. On three separate occasions, David has been honored with the prestigious title as the top manager in the nation. He holds a BA in Economics from California State University.
Field Service Manager
Frank Abbott joined ASI in 2012 as the Service Manager where he is responsible for the service department, service staff training and development, as well as, technical support. He has been in the service side of the industry for over 20 years. On various occasions, Frank has won the tech of the year award. He holds an Associate of Applied Science from University of Alaska Anchorage.
